Captain Cook in Hiroo

There’s a cute, “British style” cafe in Hiroo called Captain Cook. Jamie and I went there today for a late lunch, where we enjoyed their signature dish, “Shakespeare’s Globe.” A poached egg encased in avocado, bacon, feta, and tomato. It was a nice way to catch up since we’ve both been busy over the holidays. They also have real bread (like rye!). Definitely recommend the place.

Last time Jamie and I were there, we met an Australian girl who worked at a nearby elementary school. She was finishing her grading. We got to talking and swapped Facebook information. She told us about a group called the Tokyo Snow Club which organizes ski trips and recommended it. Stuff like this never happened to me back in Fuji.
